Models (TFP/TFCD)
Thank you for your interest in posing for Zeptae. The form below is for models interested in TFP/TFCD (Time for Prints/CD) portfolio building photo shoots. If you are looking to hire Zeptae see the "Rates" section. Please read through the Common Questions and Answers then fill out and submit the TFP/TFCD Model Request Form below. If Zeptae is interested in working with you, he will contact you within a few days with more information and he will answer any and all questions you may have.
Form Object Here are some common questions models ask...
Q. I'm not a professional model, can I still work with Zeptae? A. Yes. Both professional models and models just starting out are welcome but you will be expected to act in a professional manner. (i.e. show up on time, stay focused on your work, etc.)
Q. How will my safety be assured at the photo shoot? A. There are several ways to assure you of your safety: First of all, you are encouraged to research Zeptae - he is very proud of his reputation. Secondly, you may bring a friend or 'security' person to the photo shoot with you or tell someone you trust where you are going and how long you will be gone. Finally, Zeptae has a great, long-standing reputation in the photography and modeling world. He has worked with many models from all over North America and references can be provided to you upon request.
Q. I have never done a TFP/TFCD photo shoot. How does it work? A. You may be new to the modeling world, so here is some information on the mechanics of how the TFP/TFCD process works. Zeptae will discuss the photo shoot with you in detail well before the photo shoot date. Once a date and time has been established you and Zeptae (and any other support people i.e. lighting assistants, makeup artists, hair stylists, your security person, etc.) will meet at the location or studio. Before the photo shoot begins, you will have to show appropriate photo ID. Most models find working with Zeptae to be fun, professional and they are extremely happy with the resulting pictures. If you are uncomfortable with anything during the photo shoot, just let Zeptae know and you won't have to do it - he won't even try to talk you into it. After the shoot, you will sign a standard model release form, releasing the rights to the images. Zeptae will then own the rights to the images. However, you can use any of the images for your own portfolio. You can print them, post them on your online model portfolio, etc. The only thing you can't do, is sell or transfer the rights to the images. You will get a copy of all of the images on a CD or DVD-Rom at the end of the shoot (if the shoot is taking place on location rather than in the studio, Zeptae will get the CD or DVD-Rom to you within a couple of days). If you would like to retain the rights to the images or you want to sell the rights to the images, you are in the wrong section -- please see the Rates section to hire Zeptae to do your photo shoot.
Q. I would love to work with Zeptae but I live far away. A. Zeptae often works with models that come from all over North America. Accommodations can be provided for out-of-town models.
Q. I am 17, can I pose for Zeptae if there is no nudity? A. No. Zeptae only works with models who are at least 18 years of age whether there is nudity or not. No exceptions!
Q. I am new to modeling and I'm not totally sure if I'm comfortable having my pictures posted publicly but I'd like to pose for Zeptae anyway. A. The images you pose for will be available for anyone to view forever. Modeling is a permanent. If you are even a little bit unsure, you should not pose for Zeptae. The images cannot be taken down at a later date. If you want a private "Boudoir" photo shoot for yourself that you will own the rights to, you will need to hire Zeptae. Please see the Rates section for prices.
Q. I filled out and submitted the TFP/TFCD Model Request Form, now what? A. Zeptae personally reviews all the model submissions. If he is interested in working with you, he will contact you with more information and answer any questions you might have. If you don't hear anything within a few days that probably means Zeptae is not interested in working with you on a TFP/TFCD basis -- please don't request a model critique or explanation if you are not chosen - such requests are unprofessional and will go unanswered.
Q. What happens to the sample image I upload with my Model Request submission? A. Nothing. The image is simply for evaluation purposes. It will never be given out or posted elsewhere (unless you appear to be under 18 years of age in the image, in which case the image and your information will be given to the police).
Q. I didn't hear back from Zeptae about doing a TFP/TFCD photo shoot. I guess he wasn't interested in working with me on a TFP/TFCD basis but I'd still really like to have him do my photography. Can I hire Zeptae even if I haven't been accepted to do TFP/TFCD shoot? A. Yes. Please see the Rates section for prices and more information.
Q. Can I pick and choose which pictures I want to let Zeptae use? A. No. That being said, it's in both your interest AND Zeptae's interest to make you look good. You can be assured that wonky shots (like you were mid blink or some such thing) most likely won't be used. Further more, Zeptae usually photo edits the images he chooses to use -- so minor imprecations like zits, will be edited out before the images are posted. If you aren't comfortable with Zeptae choosing which pictures he wants to use, you should not pose for him.
